Paso 4: Orientación cultural

La orientación cultural le permitirá prepararse para el reasentamiento, ya que contiene información práctica acerca de la cultura y las leyes de los Estados Unidos. Le ayudará a hacerse expectativas realistas y a enterarse de las aptitudes y actitudes necesarias para prosperar en el nuevo entorno. El USRAP ha preparado el plan de estudios de orientación cultural sobre la base de décadas de experiencia. Las clases de orientación cultural son dictadas por un equipo multilingüe y multiétnico que le permitirá prever los problemas de integración y le responderá la mayoría de las preguntas que tenga acerca del reasentamiento en los Estados Unidos.

For you to gain the most benefit, CO classes are designed to be participatory and interactive. We highly encourage all eligible family members to attend.

There are some occasions when attending CO is not possible. In these situations, you will receive written material to help prepare you for life in the United States. You are encouraged to review all the materials well before your departure. You will receive additional Cultural Orientation in the United States.
